I am really gung-ho and patriotic when it comes to supporting our military service men and women. It matters not whether they are serving stateside, overseas, in combat "hot" zones, or if they are retired veterans. Mambo Arts Today will always be first in line to support our troops 24 /  7 / 365. That especially goes for veterans with disabilities, military police, and closest to my heart and soul, the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS. Semper Fi, Til I Die, baby! Semper Fi.

 

To that end I am going to make this page sort of an improvisational part of the Mambo Arts Today website that will present a wide variety of topics and articles devoted to one thing only...bring to the forefront as much about US military info as I can.

For example, on this initial entry I am going to list a few good books that every patriotic American reader of this webpage should purchase for their teenage kids ( you are teaching them well, aren't you??? ) who have perhaps had a chance to join a high school or university R.O.T.C. unit ( if they can find one on todays "pansified" and "politically correct" campuses ), and are considering taking the next big step and doing something positive for their country besides partying, getting high, chasing the opposite sex for sport, and generally wasting valuable time with slackers and ne'er do wells in their same age group.

 

The concerned and watchful parent should offer the following books to their budding warriors once it becomes apparent that they have seriously decided to become an American Patriot who is willing to give at least a few years of commitment to the defense of this great nation that we live in. You should also take some time and visit Sgt. Michael Volkin's excellent website,  http://www.ultimatebasictraining.com/ , where you will find an in-depth overview of his two books mentioned above. Sgt. Volkin's site will offer the serious American Patriot a portal into audio and visual higher military education via what he calls the "basic training university." I highly recommend it for both future recruits and their parents. Superb is the operant word. The info on Sgt. Volkins website and in his excellent publications is the ultimate first step / first building block / cornerstone for successful entry into any branch of the military services. This is preparation for the perceptive.
